Why the Uruguayan Tannat is different to the French Tannat wine?
The wine making process in Uruguay changed when the Tannat wine grape was introduced at the end of 19th century from Madiran, France since this type of wine was carefully developed and improved till today. Been sent a DVD in the post. No handwriting, all typed. It contains hours of footage of a garden in the rain. It is an uneasy image. Feels like you’re looking through a window into a life just as drab as your own. I take a sip of wine. Something floating in it; wine fly. I pick it off my finger and look at it. Pissed.
